The Studio
Light Work Studios is a creative consultancy and studio practice. Among its offerings is a curated advisory practice for founders, leaders, and creative people whose ambitions outpace the language they currently have for them.
We are fluent in the cultural and human dynamics that shape how teams and entities actually function, treat languages and beliefs as mood boards, and find the narrative gaps that have been missed. The most important insights emerge from the spaces in between.
Jewels and tools in our kit include: narrative interviews and audience research (quantitative and qualitative), strategy frameworks (well-worn and improvisational), sharp strategy sessions, developed guides on everything from vision to voice, and facilitated workshops and custom convenings.
We follow maps of histories (what has been traversed) and aspirations (the bigger the better), and unspoken patterns and poetries. We get our bearings from meticulous study of strategy and the stars — divining the course our auspicious collaborators are meant to cross.

Haley Hoffman is a story strategist and consigliere — serving as a venture co-builder, trusted advisor, and idea weaver. She is a collaborator with individuals, leaders, enterprises, and artisans to name what wishes to be revealed. Fresh eyes, incisive takes, and poetic documentation.
Haley has spent her career helping organizations navigate periods of significant change. Her background spans product strategy at TED, management consulting at Katzenbach Partners and Incandescent (including: facilitation at the White House, ecosystem change with The Rockefeller Foundation), and years of advisory for talent, enterprises, startups, and creative leaders in transition.
